We take on the task of getting your home valued and on the market. Once you’ve secured a buyer, we’ll invite you to come and choose your new Bellway home. Oh, and we’ll cover all your estate agent fees too.

Yes – Express Mover is Bellway’s very own assisted move scheme. Other housebuilders may have a similar scheme to help you sell your current home, Express Mover is just the name we’ve picked for ours.

To get started with Bellway’s Express Mover scheme, explore your nearest Bellway developments to find out where it’s available in your area. Then get in touch with our sales advisor at your chosen development, or pop in for a coffee and a chat to find out more. We’ll just need to take a few details and find out more about the home you’d like us to sell for you. Then when you’re happy to proceed, we’ll get things in motion and let you know about the next steps.

Two local estate agents will be instructed to independently value and market your home, to increase the chances of selling your home sooner. This is all arranged by our partner asset management company to make sure everything’s done thoroughly and fairly.

No – we cover the estate agent fees for selling your home when you use our Express Mover assisted move scheme. So all you need to worry about is choosing your perfect Bellway plot – oh, and packing for your move. If only we could help you with that too.

At their valuation visits, the independent local estate agents come to have a look at your home and take photos and measurements that they’ll use to estimate its value. All business, no intrusion. You’ll need to be there to let the estate agents in (tea and biscuit offerings aren’t mandatory, though). So, we work around a time that works for you.

The estate agents will base their valuation on your home’s features, condition, size, and location, as well as how it compares to other homes for sale in your area and anything that makes it unique. You’ll receive their estimations of a 4, 8, and 12-week selling price, and then you’re free to choose the price you want to market your home at depending on how quickly you’d like to sell. Both estate agents will put your property on the market, so that means twice the effort going into selling your home, while you relax and wait for the ‘we’ve got you an offer’ phone calls to come through. Just so you know, we partner with an asset management company who liaise with the estate agents and make sure everything’s done properly when it comes to selling your home.

You can reserve your shiny new Bellway home as soon as you’ve found a buyer for your current property, by accepting an offer that you’re happy with. We’ll get in touch with you once we hear the good news.

After you’ve accepted an offer from a buyer on your current home, we’ll invite you to come along and reserve your new Bellway home at your chosen development. From there, it’s full steam ahead towards completion day as the process will be the same as any other house sale and purchase – with the bonus that we’ll be paying the estate agent fees for selling your home. The timings for each part of the process will vary depending on everyone’s circumstances, and the build stage of your chosen Bellway home, but your sales advisor will keep you up to date.
