Our homes come with a 10-year NHBC Buildmark policy, or an equivalent warranty from another provider. This includes deposit protection from exchange of contracts, a two-year builder warranty from legal completion, and then eight years of structural defects insurance cover.*
The NHBC, a non-profit organisation, is the leading warranty and insurance provider in the UK, setting the standards for new homes. The company invests in funding to improve quality across the industry, and NHBC auditors check and examine all properties at various construction stages.
Each and every one of our properties is built in compliance with the exacting requirements of new-home construction. This is further reassurance that everything from our design process and workmanship to the materials we use, are of the highest standard.
You're in safe hands
During the first two years, the warranty is provided by Bellway and covers damage repair, the removal of contaminated land, and costs incurred as a consequence of work carried out on your home, such as alternative accommodation and storage expenses.
From the third year through to the tenth, your home is covered by further insurance protection from an independent provider, the NHBC, and will typically include roofs, flues and chimneys, walls, stairs, ceilings, foundations, glazing and access. Exclusions apply.
