Newark’s fascinating heritage is perfect for exploration, with enchanting historic sites such as Newark Castle, situated just two miles away, where visitors can take tours, view exhibitions, or enjoy a stroll through the Victorian gardens.

Travel by train is provided by Newark Northgate Rail Station, situated less than 2 miles away, which provides services to Aberdeen, London Kings Cross, Peterborough, Darlington and York. Alternatively, Newark Castle Station is also around 2 miles away, with regular trains to Leicester, Lincoln and Matlock. East Midlands Airport and Robin Hood Airport cover international travel, with both airports being around 55 minutes’ drive away.  

A charming market town steeped in history, Newark-on-Trent is dotted with attractive Georgian architecture, independent stores, and relaxed bistros – all centralised around a cobbled market square. For fresh organic produce, locally caught fish, and artisan gifts, Newark Market is just two miles away from the homes, with the shopping attraction perfect for those looking to support local independent businesses. Wider shopping needs are met by the selection of large supermarkets close by, one of the nearest of which is just a four-minute drive away. 

Gannets is a popular local café, just minutes away from the development. Nearby dining options include Indian and British, with a tea room in Newark just two-and-a-half miles away from the homes. Also within five minutes’ drive of the development is the Holy Trinity Catholic Academy.  Additionally, Christ Church C of E Infant Nursery School is on site.

Newark Academy and Suthers School, both around five minutes’ drive away, offer secondary school education, and are both part of the NOVA education trust. 

For older students, both the University of Nottingham and the University of Lincoln are within 25 miles of the development.
