For tube services, the nearest London Underground station is Upney (District Line), just over two miles away, while Barking Overground station is three miles away (for District, Hammersmith and City lines). Barking Riverside also has access to the London Overground service through its newly opened station, just 14 minutes’ walk away. Regular local bus services connect the development with nearby areas, including central London, and major roads easily accessed from Fielders Quarter Phase 3 include the A13, A12 and A406 North Circular. For travel by water into the city, Barking Riverside Pier provides access to the Thames Clipper service and is just over half a miles’ walk from the development.

The local area of Barking Riverside has been designed with leisure in mind – green space is available in local parks and a nature reserve, fitness and sports facilities are on the doorstep, plus incorporated walking and cycle routes run throughout. Barking Sporthouse and Gym is an 11-minute drive away and offers a range of fitness equipment for everyone, as well as regular fitness classes, a trampoline and play park, a sports hall, a climbing facility, an outdoor basketball court, and a skatepark.

For those considering higher Education, London offers an excellent selection of universities, including the prestigious Imperial College London, King’s College London, and the London School of Economics – all within an hour’s drive of the development.

Barking Riverside has access to the London Overground service through its newly opened station, just 14 minutes’ walk away. This will connect the area to Fenchurch Street in around 20 minutes, and offer connections to several London Underground lines, including the newly opened Elizabeth line.

The EL1 bus route – just a short walk from the site – operates 24 hours a day and links the development with Barking Station.
