Gazelle Way bus stop is a minute’s walk from the development and provides regular transport through to Cambridge city centre. Cambridge train station is three miles away and offers numerous services including several London destinations. Services from Cambridge station to London Kings Cross typically take one hour and eight minutes. Cambridge has a second train station, Cambridge North, which offers travel to the capital as well as north into Norfolk.
Springstead Village is well-connected by roads, with the A14 a four-minute drive away, and the M11 a 10-minute drive away, reaching London’s North Circular Road in a further 48 minutes.
Cambridge City Airport – two miles north – provides plane chartering services, while London Stansted offers worldwide travel from one of the UKs busiest airports – a 36-minute drive away.
Springstead Village is well-served by local amenities, with a convenience store two minutes’ walk away, and a choice of popular supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. There are a handful of restaurants and vendors along Cherry Hinton High Street, 10 minutes’ walk from the development.
Central Cambridge is three miles away and offers a fine array of independent shopping and dining options. The city centre boasts hundreds of independent businesses, along with two well-stocked shopping centres. The city has a vibrant restaurant scene, with a choice of Michelin-recommended eateries, as well as unique themed spots and popular chains with a range of cultural influences. Coffee lovers will find a choice of cafés to socialise and enjoy the best caffeinated creations.
