Residents arrive at Newcastle city centre in 11 minutes when driving, the vibrant streets filled with exciting activities including crazy golf, theatres, galleries, museums – including The Centre for Life – as well as the popular Quayside. St James’ Park is five miles from the homes and is the home of Newcastle United. Those looking for coastal views can arrive at Tynemouth in only half an hour.

Everyday essentials can be purchased at several nearby supermarkets, all within a five-minute drive.

Shoppers can enjoy retail therapy at West Denton Retail Park just over two-and-a-half miles away and Kingston Park four miles away. A little further out are several nationally recognised shopping centres. Eldon Square, situated in Newcastle city centre, has previously held the title of largest shopping mall in the country, while The Metrocentre is the largest indoor shopping centre in Europe – also home to exciting events – and is accessible in only nine minutes’ drive.

For dining, The Metrocentre, Eldon Square, and Newcastle city centre all have a wide range of fantastic options. Locally, the homes are surrounded by well-loved pubs, the closest of which is 10 minutes on foot.

Parents of primary-aged children benefit from being around 10 minutes’ on foot from Walbottle Village Primary School, which also offers a nursery, and St Cuthbert’s RC Primary School. A 15-minute walk leads residents to Knop Law Primary School. St John Vianney RC Primary School is just over a mile away.

There are several secondary schools reachable in under 10 minutes’ drive – Studio West, Ponteland Community High School, and Sacred Heart Catholic High School.

For further education, Newcastle College is accessed in 12 minutes when driving and Northumberland College is 25 minutes’ drive away, with both establishments providing higher education courses.

Those interested in pursuing higher education at a university have easy access to Northumbria University and The University of Newcastle, both of which are around a 15-minute drive away in the city centre. A little further out, commuting to The University of Sunderland and The University of Durham takes half an hour when driving.

Roman Court has fantastic access to major roads. The A69 is reachable in just three minutes, connecting motorists to Carlisle through Hexham and Corbridge to the west, as well as to the A1 to the east. Commuters join the A19 in around 15 miles from the homes, allowing for travel across the country.

There are several Metro stops nearby for travel through the city. Bank Foot Metro stop and Kingston Park Metro stop are both a nine-minute drive away. For city centre destinations, commuters can arrive at Haymarket Metro station in around 15 minutes’ drive, or alternatively, 30 minutes when taking the bus from Walbottle stop, which is a short five-minute walk from the development.

For national and international travel, Newcastle International Airport is a short 8-minute drive away.
