This cultural hotspot boasts stunning parks, a bustling high street, plus a museum, theatre, and cinema.

The surrounding Oxfordshire countryside is ideal for outdoor leisure, with an abundance of nearby hiking and cycling trails to keep fit. The local landscape is littered with interesting sights, including Long Crendon Courthouse and Boarstall Tower – just two of several nearby National Trust sites, a 16- and 17-minute drive away, respectively.

Oxford is a jewel in the British south, home to an excellent array of culture and history just 14 miles from the development. The city is the ideal place to soak up culture, with renowned museums, art galleries, and the famous university buildings.

Thame is home to a number of schools, ideal for those with young families. Primary schools include John Hampden County Primary School, a 14-minute walk away, plus Saint Joseph’s Primary School and Barley Hill Primary School – both within a six-minute drive.

Secondary school options include Lord Williams’s School, the Lower School site being located just four minutes’ bike ride away. The school has been a part of Thames’ history since the 16th century, with a direct honoured link to New College Oxford.

Those looking to pursue higher education have some of the world’s finest university institutions within a commutable distance. The University of Oxford is world’s second oldest university in continuous operation, while Oxford Brookes University is one of the UK’s leading modern universities. London and its wider reach are home to a breadth of respected universities, specialising in a broad range of vocational studies.

Thame Park Road bus stop is a nine-minute walk away from the development – served by the 121 bus, residents have access to the Thame Circular line which provides a route through and around the town centre. A bus to Oxford City Centre can be caught from the Town Hall bus station, taking around 45 minutes.

The town centre benefits from numerous restaurants, cafés, and pubs – plus regular markets for those who are keen to shop fresh and independently.

Broader shopping options can be found both in the neighbouring town of Aylesbury and city of Oxford, which provide retail parks and shopping centres. Oxford offers popular chain retailers in Westgate Shopping Centre, as well as down Queen Street and Cornmarket Street. The rest of the city centre provides a wealth of independent boutiques, antique stores, and a covered market, while the nearby Bicester Village is one of the country’s finest designer outlets.
