Keep you and your family entertained at one of the many attractions and beauty spots in the Staffordshire area, each easily reached by car and public transport.

For dog walkers and hikers, Park Hall Country Park – which is under a 10-minute drive away from the development – has striking lakes, woodlands, and canyons to explore.

Downs Banks, a National Trust site around 15 minutes away by car, offers the perfect spot for lovers of the outdoors. The site has a beautiful stream running the length of the Downs, as well as stunning views of nearby landmarks including Mow Cop Castle.

Less than 14 miles away from the development is Alton Towers, a wonderful theme park that has more than 40 rides and attractions for visitors to enjoy, including rollercoasters, a sea life centre, and a sensory garden.

Everyday essentials can be picked up from a variety of local supermarkets, including a well-known option that’s just over a mile away from The Crescent.

For further retail solutions, Longton Exchange Shopping Centre is a little under a 10-minute drive away from the development, and offers a number of stores and shops to browse.

Stoke city centre also have a variety of shopping options, including Roebuck Shopping Centre, Piccadilly Shopping Arcade, and Festival Heights Retail Park.

Any commuters looking at The Crescent as a potential home can take advantage of the wonderful roadlinks and public transport options in the area.

Blythe Bridge train station – which is just over a five-minute drive away – enables travel to nearby Stoke-on-Trent, a 10-minute journey, and Derby, a 35-minute trip.  As an alternative, those with cars can reach Stoke-on-Trent in as little as 15 minutes, Stafford in 30 minutes, and Derby in 45 minutes.

For travel nationally and internationally, East Midlands Airport is only around 40 miles away from the development.

The Crescent Academy, Weston Junior Academy, and Sandon Primary Academy are all within a mile-and-a-half of The Crescent, allowing for swift travel whether on foot, by car, or by public transport.
