Springwood can be located in the village of Midway, Derbyshire, roughly 15 miles south-west of Derby. The development can be reached in less than a 25-minute drive of junction 23A of the M1, via the A42.

Travel throughout Midway and the wider area is quick and easy with the vast roadlinks available to residents of Springwood. Nearby towns and cities are easily within reach, including Burton upon Trent, which is just five miles away, Derby, which is roughly a 30-minute drive, and Birmingham, which is about 40 minutes away by car.
Those looking to travel abroad can make the most of the close proximity of the East Midlands Airport – where flights are available to destinations across Europe – as the airport is just under 11 miles away from the development.
There are a number of highly rated schools in the areas around Springwood, which makes it an ideal location for families looking for a new home.
Schools nearby to the development include Eureka Primary School, which is only a little under a 10-minute walk away, Belmont Primary School, which is less than a mile away, and Hartshorne C of E Primary School, which is under a five-minute drive.
For secondary education, there are a number of options available to parents, such as the Granville Academy, which is about a five-minute walk, and the Pringle Academy, which is around a mile-and-a-half away.
