Around three miles away from the development is Conkers, an indoor and outdoor adventure zone set in the heart of the National Forest that has more than 120 acres to see and discover.

Just over 10 minutes’ drive away is Ashby de la Zouch Castle, which is a wonderful English Heritage site where visitors can explore the underground passage and climb to the top of the long-standing tower.

Roughly 10 miles away from Springwood is Twycross Zoo – an ideal spot for the whole family as there’s more than 125 animal species to see, a soft play area to traverse, and hands-on animal experiences to take advantage of.

Purchasing items like everyday essentials is quick and easy for residents of Springwood, as there are several popular supermarkets located within a short drive of the development – the nearest little more than two minutes away by car.

Travel throughout Midway and the wider area is quick and easy with the vast roadlinks available to residents of Springwood. Nearby towns and cities are easily within reach, including Burton upon Trent, which is just five miles away, Derby, which is roughly a 30-minute drive, and Birmingham, which is about 40 minutes away by car.

Those looking to travel abroad can make the most of the close proximity of the East Midlands Airport – where flights are available to destinations across Europe – as the airport is just under 11 miles away from the development.

There are a number of highly rated schools in the areas around Springwood, which makes it an ideal location for families looking for a new home.

Schools nearby to the development include Eureka Primary School, which is only a little under a 10-minute walk away, Belmont Primary School, which is less than a mile away, and Hartshorne C of E Primary School, which is under a five-minute drive.
