Lauren and Nitesh, pictured with their son, Luca, are loving life in the Avondale, their new four-bedroom detached home.
When Lauren Hazlie and Nitesh Majhu picked up the keys to their first together home from Bellway, their lives were about to change forever.
Having just found out they were expecting their first child, the young professionals chose a new two bedroom ground floor apartment in Glasgow’s popular west end at Dorchester Avenue where Bellway had built an attractive development. Its convenient location was ideal for Lauren who works in the city as a solicitor and Nitesh who owns Murphy’s Pakora Bar, the popular food landmark in the neighbouring area.
However, within just two months their lives became a whirlwind with the arrival of their son Luca and they soon realised they would quickly outgrow the apartment.
Lauren says: “Our flat was in a great location close to Nitesh’s mum, but you don’t really appreciate just how much stuff comes along with a baby and we were quickly running out of space. We knew we wanted to live in the suburbs and have a garden, but didn’t know where.
