Kingfisher Green is set against a backdrop of green fields, close to Bloors Lane Community Woodland and within walking distance of two nature reserves – Berengrave and Motney Hill. The Strand Leisure Park, three miles from the development, is home to an outdoor gym, play areas, crazy golf, tennis courts and walking trails. It also has an outdoor swimming pool, toddler paddling pool and lazy river, which are open during the summer months.
For ice skating head to Planet Ice in Gillingham, 10 minutes’ drive away, or for skiing and snowboarding, Chatham Snowsports Centre is just 15 minutes away by car. The nearest multiscreen cinema is located in Chatham, while for theatre fans, the Oasthouse Theatre in Rainham presents a community programme of drama, family shows, comedy and musicals.
