Basingstoke Leisure Park promises a full day of activities with an Aquadrome, iFly sky diving attraction, bowling, ice rink, a multi-plex cinema, a ten pin bowling alley, a museum and a collection of family restaurants all just over a 10-minute drive from Longfield Place.
Residents of Longfield Place will be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping, with the impressive Chineham Shopping centre less than a 5-minute drive from home. With an excellent selection of brand-name stores, ample parking, large supermarkets and a handful of food outlets, this convenient retail centre is ideal for everyday shopping needs.
A little further afield, Basignstoke’s bustling town centre is a shopper’s paradise, with an extensive array of high street favourites, independent boutiques and indoor malls, not to mention a tempting selection of cafés, bars and restaurants.
Festival Place is Basingstoke's premier shopping destination, home to aspirational fashion brands, electricals, homewares, groceries, toys and much more. Along with a variety of coffee shops, bars and family restaurants, Festival Place also boasts a state-of-the-art cinema, discovery centre, sports centre, soft play area and even an escape room, all within a 10-minute drive of Longfield Place.
Longfield Place is ideally-placed for commuters, with an excellent local road network and good public transport services.
For travel by road, the A33 is just a few minutes’ drive away, while junction 6 of the M3 is just 6-minutes away. Basingstoke town centre can be reached in around 10-minutes via the A33, while Hook town centre is less than 15-minutes away via the M3.
Those preferring to travel by train will find Basingstoke station just 9 minutes away by car, with regular services to major commuter destinations, including London and Manchester.
For international travel, the closest airport is Southampton, at just over 35-minutes away by car.
Families are well-catered for in the area, with a range of well-regarded local schools covering primary through to higher education.
Younger children are served by the popular Four Lanes Infant School and Four Lanes Community Junior School, both less than two miles from the development, while other infant and primary schools can be found just a short drive from home.
Older students will find the independent Sherfield School within walking distance, as well as several the high schools in nearby Basingstoke, and beyond.
Those pursuing further study, may consider the award-winning multi-disciplinary University of Winchester, just 30-minutes from Longfield Place by car.
